tricked out fule door.

OK, I was sitten in town last night and one of my friends friends pulls up in an 4th (I think) gen. honda hatchback. Well he was talking to us for a littlebit, then he asked were we thought the fule door was. Well we couldn't find it, then he walks over and grabs the tile light. The tail light swings out and the place to put the pump was behind the light. I thought that was pretty cool, and it's something I never seen before.

I saw that in an old Honda Tuning magazine. It does look pretty sweet.

I saw thta in the Honda tuning mag also a while ago. Its a nice idea, but there are a couple things wrong with it. Such as: What happens when those hinges get worked so much that they become loose? I can just see myself pulling a hard right turn and having my tail light swing open, that would suck. Also, What if someone discovered that it was your fuel door, and they just open it, they could put salt, sugar, or even pee into your fuel tank. Im sure some sort of locking system could solve both of these problems, but then that just seems like a lot of $$. Also, it would take away from valuable trunk space for suck things as your Nitrous bottles, and Subs. Just my thoughts on that whole thing.
Peace~

if you go back in time this started I believe in the 50's. Actually american cars were the first to do this. You know on some of those old boats that drove the streets way back when. It does look cool cause the cars lines aren't disturebed. Growing up going to car shows with my dad I would see these, I can't remember on what types of cars but some of em had those big flared rear fenders to mimic planes cause that was the rage back then.

Yeah, I saw that on a 6th Gen 'Vic at NOPI Nats. last year. I was quite impressed as I had never seen it done before. Looked damn cool, too! BUT...their taillights are a helluva lot smaller than ours...it was just the outside piece of the lights.
