Very fun indeed...I have the Kumo bushings+an RSX **** and I just cut about 1/2" off the top of the shift rod...next step for me is the Revo shifter.

dober: Normally, your car has rubber bushings with metal sleeves to isolate the shifting mechanism...this is great for isolating vibration but makes the shifting action sloppy.
The Kumo bushings are one-piece solid aluminum which sharpens the shift feel. If you also change out the stock **** with a shorter one, it effectively reduces the throw...that's why I've cut my shifter rod, to further lower the ****.

Edit: Actually, I just remembered that they are 2-piece bushings...they kinda sandwich the shifter mount.

check out this thread for some cool pics of the results

I got the revo ss but never bothered with the bushings cause I didnt know they existed. Where would they go? Would I have to take out the center console again to get at it?

Dober yes you will have to take the center console out again you have to remov e the SS from its posistion the rubber bushings you have are black and they are replaced with some metal red ones you can really FEEL the difference you can even hear it sometimes it really feels sharper and more precise its well worth the $20

Man! The revo ss is one mod that everyone seems to like. If you have a stick it is an obligatory mod. It's a mod that you actually get to directly use while driving the car. I absolutely love mine.
