LIST OF PEOPLE NOT TO BUY/SELL TO IN THE MARKETPLACE...
Ive had some really bad experiences and some really good experiences buying/selling/trading stuff in the marketplace... I think for everybodies safety, good and bad sellers/buyers should be posted here so people do not get ripped off...

Bad: SQcivic sent the money TWO weeks ago, still dont know if theyve been shipped out or not

Rep Power: 0 Definitely a hooked 2K1 user here. Went out of town, just got checked in to my hotel, fired up the laptop, checked e-mail and then of course 2k1civic.com. Sure didn't expect to see my name being trashed on the forum, especially without all the facts of the transaction being presented. I'm not a big fan of talking about things like this on a public forum but in this case I think I will.
What mullinad failed to tell you was that he was immediately shipped the lug nuts, the Honda locking lug nut set, the set of black center caps, and the set of red center caps by Priority Mail which he received a while back. He also failed to post that I have been in touch with him every step of the way explaining that I was having a hard time finding a way to ship the wheels & tires. I had no idea it would be this difficult. Neither UPS or FEDEX would package them for me and I drove all over town trying to find that strapping material that places like TireRack uses but could not find any. Finally a member from this forum explained to me how to pack the tires & wheels securely in a way that UPS would accept (thanks Lucas). I did package them and dropped them off to be shipped at a business that I use frequently for shipping. As PimpDakota can certainly verify, my shipper hasn't been on top of things lately and I've had a few things go out much slower than I had planned. I'm not trying to put the blame on someone else since the bottom line is that it is my responsibility and I apologize both to Pimp and to mullinad for the delay. It is scary enough to do transactions online with someone you don't know and when the shipping is taking longer than it should, you get really scared. I intend to handle any further shipping personally to see that it is done timely.
But getting back to this particular situation with mullinad....When it was obvious that I was having difficulties getting the tires/wheels shipped, I told him to just return the stuff I had already sent him and I would refund his money in full. He did not want a refund and said he really wanted the wheels so I kept trying and got something worked out. I don't have hardly any free time right now because of work so I can't get very much done at all during the day. Again, no one's fault but my own. It still took longer than I thought but I got the wheels packaged and picked up by my usual shipper. I told this person that I was going out of town until Thursday and to please send mullinad an email when he shipped the packages with a tracking number which he agreed to do. After three long distance calls today I got in touch with the shipper and he said the packages are addressed & labeled and will be picked up Tuesday morning before 10.00 AM by UPS. I thought they had already gone out but at least now I know for a fact that they will Tuesday.
Now here is the good part. I was going to send mullinad an e-mail about the packages going out Tuesday. Then I read his post on the forum. Here is what we are going to do mullinad....Send me back the lug nuts, the locking lug nuts, the black center caps, and the red center caps immediately in the exact same condition that they were sent to you. When I receive those items from you and I have confirmed they are in the same condition as when they were sent, I will refund all your money. I've already made the call to cancel the UPS pickup for Tuesday morning and told them I will pick up the packages when I return Thursday. Consider this deal cancelled. I apologize for the all the delays but I really doing the best I could. I don't think it was appropriate for you to start a thread like this at my expense. I will not discuss this any further. The sooner you send my property back, the sooner you will get your refund.

Anybody else would have done the same thing I Did if they shelled out 600 bucks TWO weeks ago, then is told several different shipping dates, and had to sit around waiting. Anybody else would have gotten on the same defensive position I am on. I am a poor college student who had to borrow money just to get these rims. I paid the price he asked, overnighted the cashiers check out of my own pocket, all I want are my freaking wheels.
I did everything possible on my part other than drive 10 hours to go personally pick them up, which I seriously considered doing. I am a consumer, like everyone else in the market place ~ you either buy or sell... I never said I was being ripped off.
I paid the price he wanted, delivered it quickly, and was expecting the same in return...
WHoever wants to say that I got "owned" great for you, but you would do the exact thing I would have done... I have been patient, but I am also just covering my investments, the SAME way anyone else does...

i've been trading and dealing on game trade zone for 2 years, there are some that just don't have the time to do what they need to do, my last transaction took 3 months, because the guy never had time to send his part of the deal out, even though i sent my part of the deal 2 him the 2nd day we agreed on the transaction. if the other person explained it why they are having delays, you should give them a benefit of the doubt, usually one month. then consider taking mail fraud action or other legal action if you must. from what i can see mullinad, you were simply too impatient. if you borrowed the money, you should've expect the deal go sour and prepare to even lose the 600 dollars. now your deal isn't falling through, it's only yourself to blame. most of us are not professional seller/buyers, and you shouldn't expect a professional quality procedure, because we have other lives besides sitting around the computer waiting for someone to buy/sell our product

Do NOT deal with Eskimo!
heres the situation:
he bought brand new black housing projectors from me a few months ago for 205 shipped, then $10 for shipping.
i paid $22 to ship, and he paid me through paypal. weeks go by, while we email each other back, while hes telling me how he still hasnt recieved it yet. I shipped out 4 of these the same day! To all 7thgencivic members on here, which all 3 of them recieved pretty much the same time. So, then he files a complaint to paypal sayin how he paid me and never recieved the projectors. Then paypal took the money out of my account and gave it back to him. i had no proof if he was lieing or not, even though i thought he was! So i was like f!@k it, cant do nothing about it, my mistake not to ship with insurance or delivery confirmation. So then the VERY next day i heard someone else on this same forum had the same exact thing happen to him/her with ESKIMO!! i was like what the? i was scammed.
So all in all i lost about $230(paypal fees)!
so i just let this go.....and after reading all these "bad" buyers, i remembered this situation trying to see if any of you all happened to have this happen to.
and now i search around and guess what i found!!! A pic of his ride WITH THE EXACT projectors i sold him!!!!
unless he bought the EXACT projectors again, even though he probably didnt even know which type of projectors i was shipping him, besides they were black housing ones.....then i really doubt he did that! ahhh this makes me so mad!!

Rep Power: 0 OK, ill admit now that i am pretty drunk... because when i saw SQCIVICs response, i got a little irritated, or pissed.. i just want what I paid for, thats it, im not asking the guy to come down here and jerk me off, jesus christ... i pais for the product...just ship the dman things... anybody else who fronted 600 bones would be just as pissed AND embarrased as I am... Ive waitted several days for shipping dates, tracking numbers, etc, that hav ejust never come...

Rep Power: 0 reverse the roles in this situation...what if you told him to hold the wheels for you cause you were trying to get the funds together to pay for them, and something came up to where you wouldn't be able to get the money immediately? you would expect him to be patient and hold the wheels for you, like you agreed upon, instead of selling them to someone who has the money in hand...

Rep Power: 0 i got those headlights at rsversion.com, they're like a 15 min drive from my house, the guy sells on ebay and i gave him a personal offer of them to pick em up for 140 dollars. i'm not sure who you are but if ur the guy who sold it on the marketplace and never sent it, u left my car headlightless for like nearly a month and it pissed me off i checked the dorm post office everyday and they knew me by name, that package never came! i also ordered the eyelids from rsversion, and got them painted at SW, all these transaction are recorded, and were picked up on their saturday will call.

obviously you have a dorm PO box and that might be the problem? did you give the right address? maybe some people are jacking your stuff from the dorm since 2 different sellers said they sold you stuff and you never got them, maybe the problem is on your side

If i were mullinad i would be kind of mad as well. i mean if i sent 600 dollars to someone i didnt know and they gave me the run around then i would be pissed. but SQ said he kept u informed the whole time around so it should have been ok. we are all in the same club and if we are going to rip each other off then you shouldnt even bring your sorry *** on here! as far as eskimo goes...how about you show the man some receipts for those lights you bought from rsversion.com and maybe he can believe you that you did not recieve the lights. kinda sketchy to me...just my 2 cents, not trying to burst anyones bubble!

Rep Power: 0 Since I worked for UPS up until a couple weeks ago, I can tell you that if you gave a PO Box address, that package would never be delivered there by UPS(I think FedEx is the same way too.)
