Anybody have pics of 17's w/o lowering???

I am going to buy some 17'' konig tantrums here purty soon, but i am afraid it will look stupid without lowering it a few inches. So if you guys have any pics of 17'' rims (tantrums if possible) and no lowering kit will you show me them. Maybe it will scare me into buying a new suspenion too.

Thanks guys
Joel

What kind of tires are you planning to get? That also has an impact on wheel gap.

My sedan is unlowered with 215/45R17 tires. Check my profile for another pic.

it seems to me that if you get 205/40s then the gap is going to be significantly higher than if you get 215/45s, just cause the tires are so much smaller with the 205/40s. on top of that, it does seem to me that the coupes sit higher stock than the sedans. that might just be the way the lines make it look though. i've also found that my OEM mud guards take some of the emphasis away from the gap. oh well, it'll all be for naught anyway, my neuspeed sport springs are on the way

anyone that does more than 18" on a civic is just plane stupid. our cars are slow enough as it is, we dont wanna lose any more power just for some bigger rims;

17's look just fine on a car, no need to bigger than 18". Unless you just wanna go for looks and no speed what-so-ever...
