Just got my windows tinted!!!
Hey all! I just got my windows tinted and it looks AWESOME! Best money I've spent yet. I got 35% metallic llumar tint! I absolutely love the look it gives from the outside looking in, its awesome! If you're considering getting your windows tinted I highly suggest it! But shop around and find a place that has good recommendations and looks like they do good work without ripping you off !
Hey thats sweet......post pics so we can check it out!!! What all did that run you?? Do you still get good radio reception with it on the rear glass? I heard someties the tinting on the glass may interfere.
I had heard the same thing about the radio reception. The dealer I got the car at offered tinting as an option but found out I could get better quality for same price. So called other dealers, and other ones in the area just recommended a place rather than handling it themselves. So I found a place that has done a lot of honda's because of referrals. It ran me around $200 which from my understanding I probably could have done better, but I felt really good about the place that did it. I asked them questions about reception and they said they have never had problems with the Honda's with the Llumar tint. They said on Audi's and BMW's they have had trouble but not with Honda. So far it seems fine. I'll post pics up ASAP! I can't wait to get everybody's opinion, I think it looks GREAT!
I payed around $170 or so with the window strip with HP Charcoal Solar Gard, 32 on the front and limo on the back. Then add in the restrip on the front to 22% for $70 then a few mth later another restrip and Limo to match the back for $80. LOL Now I have the darkness I like

Wow I guess I have the best deal yet, I've been going to the same guy since 1983. He tinted my car with 80% (light blocked out or 20% to some of you) with a windshield strip for $110. No seam in the rear window and its titanium, guarrented for life, looks great.
