People w/konis and 2"+ lowering springs; my p.side strut blew. 2nd post
Well the reason it blew is because i was going over a speed bump to fast and i adjusted the struts halfway in between soft and firm. so basicly the struts had no contraction when they were supose to compress. (its like puting an 18" metal pipe in your wheel well and calling it your damper)
anywazz the strut broke free from its mount on top and fell inside the spring. the best part is when the whole wheel and rotor tilted inside the fendor makeing the car undrivable. i had oem front struts and springs put back on <front only> for a total of $600 which includes labor.
do not adjust your struts ppl; it will suck.
this is my second post within a 2 month period of the "incident"
also look at my car linked below; thats not what it looks like nomoe.
