Update on Ouch...it Hurts

I originally posted the Ouch...it hurts topic in General Ramblings back in May 10 about how it feels getting the first dent. Anyway, I received a letter from the insurance adjusters of the garage giving me an option of bringing my car to one of their authorized body shops or getting 2 competetive estimates from a shop of my choice.

Well...I faxed them 2 estimates this morning and I received a phone cal from the customer service representative saying that they already mailed out a form that I need to sign and have it notarized and mailed back to them so they can release the check for.....$473.00, this is the estimated cost of repair for one ding only.

It feels good that the problem was resolved with no long delays..... just wanted to let you guys know.

No deductable of whatsoever because the garage's insurance company is paying for the damages and not from mine.
