Try Airborne, Fed EX or a smaller shipping service. Be ready to pay for it though. Fed Ex and Airborne charge either by dimensions of the shipment or weight, they figure it out as to which one is more beneficial. I think the person you spoke to was new or something, I have received shipments from UPS (my exhaust for example) that weighed a good 90lbs (shipping weight) and was the length of the back of my trunk to my back-side passenger seat moved all the way forward.
If you can get me dimensions ans a weight estimate, I can give you an idea of what it might cost. I would need shipping to and from zip codes as well.
