Cranking + No Start
our son, has a 2010 honda civic coupe, automatic, with about 50000 miles, it worked fine for ever and now, car cranks over but will not start. he states that the oil and battery light stays on while cranking, but will not fire. he says the battery sounds like not the issue, if cranks over easily. he lives 9 hours away, just looking for some ideas for him. ???

Does it make a clicking noise during attempted starts?
Are the terminals and battery post clean and free of acid buildup?
He can either bring the battery in for testing at an auto parts store or use a multimeter to test: https://axleaddict.com/auto-repair/check-a-car-battery
