2k1 civic ex victorious again...

Ok i was on the freeway comming home from getting coffee..and i see this ALTIMA pull up next to me..and goes in front and turns on his HAZARD lights...so i was like..alright buddy lets go...so i drop it down to D3 (AUTOMATIC ) and he takes off first...i was going about 65-70...so i take off like a sec after him...and i start creeping...not much but i was creeping..and creeping..i was like yea...so i drop it to D4..just when i was about to redline..then i hit 115 MPH and i was ahead of him by almost a full car length..maybe a little bit less...and put up them HAZARD LIGHTS...shiat!!!!!!! trying to step up to this....the thing is i dont know which ALTIMA IT was...I think it was the 2.4L...and not the 3.5L...but i could be wrong...

BUT YA 2K1 BEATS 2K2 ALTIMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats pretty sweet man. I saw an altima the other day. Thats a pretty okay win. I just tried to race an Acura Integra GSR with all the trimings (Intake, headers, exhaust, rims, you know what I'm talking about). But the guy wouldn't have any of it. I guess I can't blame the guy though. Anyways...nice win...keep it up. Contradictory to popular belief, our cars our fast for the amount of HP.

True True......... It has a lot to do with the drivers skills. A friend of mine has the blue version my silver(thought I'd throw that in there) '02 Ex Coupe Standard tranny....he beat a Ford SVT Contour...he stayed almost a full car length the whole 1/4 mile. He left him a full car length from the line (he has a sweeet launch) and the contour just could not pass him. The Civic driver has years of skillz under his belt on the Countour driver. Out.

grr... something like that happened to me last night. I was on the freeway, right? Well I'm going like 100 MPH 'cause I'm trying to get home and there's three lanes on this freeway. I move over to the middle lane and I notice that some car's flying from behind me... so I'm watching and they fly right past me and then slow down... so I'm like "wtf?" I'm watching as this car's slowly driving in the right lane now and I'm stuck between a car to my left and ahead of me so I can't go anywhere... so this car *it's a Civic hatchback with a nasty exhaust* drives ahead of me in the right lane and turns on it's hazard lights... I'm like "wtf? I wasn't even racing this dude."
Pisses me off... cars all trying to race me and I'm not even racing and they turn on their hazard lights... happened another time when I was at a complete stop and some old Chevy rolled through when the light turned green and I gave it a little gas so that I wouldn't be behind alot of cars... then this dumb *** turns on his hazard lights and revs his engine... wtf? stupid wanna-be racers.

lol... not at all... [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/IMG] See they were racing me when I wasn't even racing them and they won their little imaginary race... when I race I just race against friends and we know we're racing. Plus the fact that I'm not a wanna-be racer 'cause I used to street race.

Yea, I think Racing friends is fun too. But I try and see what I can do against other cars all the time. I put mods on my car for a reason....and I intend to give everybody who wants to race agood show....I wish I lived in Murietta. I have been going up there every month for the past year and I don't see too many people with raced out cars. I see some...but not many. You have a lot of fun *** roads up there too.

you put up the hazard victory lights when both cars cant or are not willing to go any faster. was the altima not going to go faster? or did you just zoom up and throw on the hazards... if so

yes I DID beat the 175 HP ALTIMA even though it has more power it has a lot of weight too it..its a very big car...

And ya i has passed him up , then he slowed down since he saw me passing him..so i threw up them hazard lights and told him WHATS UP!!!!!!!

Sorry to but in here but there is MUCH difference. The launch..... the down shifting for (vtec) power if you have the Ex. The driving experience is a world apart from the automatic. Especially if you know how to work those gears....it's MUCH fun!
