hey all

I was crusing around with my friend with the digital camera again... takin random pics of stuff... and we ended up at the honda lot and i saw a hybrid up close.

granted, the civic hybrid is the least offencive hybrid on the road to date... but its still kinda ugly...

I would like to go drive one to see how much power it has, but I'm not the best person for that as I wouldn't have a clue [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

so here's my pics and commentary:



I kinda like the front bottom part... Still prefer the regular civic... the colour of this civic is a light pearly blue... I'm not a fan but some might be.


I love that its a 4 dr... but the wheels are welfare lookin... i guess they need those for air flow purposes but... damn you'd think they could make something better.


rear spoiler is ... looks goofy


LOVE the taillights... the white is better than that pinkish hue on the regular ones. again, dislike the spoiler

the antenna is GOOFY lookin! I don't know why honda couldn't just leave it in the windshield... it sticks up soooo much higher than the pics... also looks really really goofy at the front. I wonder if it could be removed?


So there ya go... a few photos of the hybrid for your viewing pleasure. I should've taken a pic of the dealer sheet in the rear window but I didn't even think of it.

the antenna doesnt look good either

If I had to guess it's probably disc brakes, and it's probably used with the "regenerative" braking system the cars have I believe......

it is the front/passenger side - you can see the line of the bumper heading into it on the right side. duh

Did you guys noticed that it came with Bridgestone tires instead of Firestones? Granted, it's the same company and the tires are probably exactly the same, but why Bridgestone? Do all newer Civics come with Bridgestone tires?

Con: Antenna makes it look like a European car.

I was never a fan of the sedan look...

And WTF, are those 13s?! I heard that smaller tires were dangerous, even 14s (though they come stock on Civics under the EX trim... but 13s? Ooooh, ooooh... if someone could photoshop some 18s on that car...)

Those are probably special low rolling resistance tires which are still a specialty item. Everything about that car is designed for optimum gas meileage.
