Rep Power: 0 Well a 83 Subaru GL then I was driving my moms 88 Civic hatchback DX for awhile great car but had like 240K on it when I gave it back. The Civic was awesome it was the first car I did mods too, it started the aftermarket frenzy. My 01 now I like and all but it has some issues like all cars. But if I could have got the accord I would have it now.
But oh well the civic has the reliability that I love

had absolutely no features... put $400 stereo equipment into it and it was still crap.
it broke down often... and i sold it to my brother
my brother has recently returned from college...
my old car's paint is peeling bigtime from the hood
the rust is becoming rather... uncontrollable.
paint is also peeling in several other places
its seen better days... i hope it dies a painful and awful death.

Rep Power: 0 1989 Conquest TSi ; i dunno if any of you have ever heard of it, but it was made by mitsubishi and imported by dodge for chrysler. Anyway too much trouble with the commuting issue; it sits in the carport waiting for me to get money to start fixing it up . The civic is my daily driver and will stay stock for now. Back to a car with some speed and power, did i mention it was turbocharged

Rep Power: 0 my first car was a beat up 93 geo storm; i shared it with my sister and we affectionately called it "peanut."
my 2nd car was a 90 plymouth laser- turbo-charged, rear wheel drive, first generation dsm with its interior stripped. it was a fast car dont get me wrong, but it had so many damned problems. eventually i just gave it away to charity... which i regret now since im getting into fixing up cars. damn that car had potential- with an engine/turbo swap i could of have made it into a monster.
now i have my slow *** civic... which i love to death

The good: leather seats, automatic locks & windows, sunroof, cruise control, power steering, A/C, 5 speed, full metal (if anyone hit me, i'd feel sorry for them), new blue paint job,
The Bad: seats were splitting, driver side window didn't roll down (got my first ticket through my sunroof), all of the locks didn't work, tape deck was broken, no airbags, cheap paint job (they didn't even paint BEHIND the license plate), interior was tan, exterior was blue
why'd i get a new civic? had to get some stuff replaced, found out it had atleast another $1200 worth of damage... decided to trade it in (begged for $500) and got the civic...
initial reaction to the civic... i thought i was driving the best car in the world.. i couldn't even imagine what a real accord would have been like...
do i get an award for having a pretty sorry car?? lol! in some ways i miss dat car though! because i didn't care where i parked or who opened their door onto it! lol! ahh.. the good old days...

Rep Power: 0 my last (and first) car was a tan 92 buick lesabre. yes, i said a buick lesabre. i drove it until i came to college then went without a car for 1 year then got the civ. my sister's driving it now, poor girl. it was a pretty nice car actually. it was fast for a granny-type car. the only thing that ever went wrong was the alternator went out 4 seperate times. and i wrecked the front end of it 2 weeks before i turned 18 by getting hit by a ford f250 when i stopped at a red light and then went, thinking it was green when it was still red. what happened was that the hum-v in front of me turned right on red and i just went, thinking it was green. my problem was that i was too busy staring at the hum-v to pay attention to the light. i learned many lessons that day.

Good: it ran
Bad: It was hit four times while parked, had only an am/fm radio, the back end swung out on every turn.
1996 Saturn sc2
Good: Load, as good as they come, handled better then my civic. Leather, sunroof, rims and a smashed cat that gave me a really cool sound.
Bad: literaly exploded on the freeway and nearly killed me, closed 580 for 45 minutes.

Good: handling... never drove a car that stick on the road like the 323 with sport suspension. And I have drove a lot of luxury cars 70,000+ and they can't beat a 323. Also, even with it's low hp, the top speed is not so bad.
Bad: It's low power.

'87 Honda Accord Sedan LX. No fuel injection. Four banger. 98 horsies. Power everything and A/C. I got used to being so low to the ground. I hate how all the newer cars are really high. They make them for passenger room now. I hate that. I don't weigh 300 pounds. I'm not 7 feet tall. WTF do I need to feel like I'm sitting in a chair in my car? I'de rather be laying low like in a Ferrari. Anyway, sorry for the rant. Maybe when I lower my car and get new seats I'll regain some of this feeling. ::crossed fingers::
