If you really want one, drive to canada...supposedly MSRP translated to US comes out to about 16,900...about 3000 less than it is here, plus you get the nifty "SiR" badges

And you forgot to mention

1) a/c tax
2) documentation tax
3) frieght + pdi
4) other sh|t taxes
5) more taxes
6) more taxes

you get the point, especially in Vancouver BC, taxes are left right and center and top down and up your @$$ all over the place.

Motorists in BC have to pay for taxes BC tRANSIT through a LEVI which applies when you buy a new car also.
Sh|tty deal if you ask me.
