almost had my civic repo over insur....
i had a little fender bender back in oct. the incident was bull sh*t i ended up with a crack in my bumper and a scratch on her car... no big deal i thought. then the bank called yesterday and told me the my coverage was reduced by 25,000 and it was not enough. like 135,000 isn't enough. and then there like by the way it has to be taken care of by friday or will take ur car...i flipped out. i just payed the insur and the car note...i'm broke........then the best thing ever happed to me. i started to to throw clothes around looking for my kicks and bam there it was 3 crisp hundred dollor bills laying on the floor....i mean this suckes had a little sprakle come up at me....so i went out after and got things done....talk about a close one

WTF? How do you lose $300? I "launder" $1 - $5 all the time, but 3 $100 bills?
Can you explain that a little better though? You're still paying off your car, right?

Was it determined that you were at fault? Why would a bank just reduce your coverage? Does that happen when you don't own your car? For me, if I was at fauly my insurance rates would be raised, but my coverage wouldn't be reduced. Well, either this or that I guess. However in my state you need to be covered for at least a certain minimum. Maybe your state does things differently?
