I bought these for use with my 01 civic and 03 jetta, mostly for things like oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, etc. The welding looks a little rough in some spots though, just wondering if this is normal or maybe I got a bad pair.

I have some 3 ton duralast jacks that have much nicer looking welds (which I will use for big jobs.

thanks!

Re: Are these jackstands safe?
Probably.
Hard to tell from pictures. If anything, they'll be suitable otherwise they shouldn't even be allowed to selll such a product. If you want, you can also get BlackJack brand stands at Walmart for $20 that are decent quality.

I have the exact same Jack Stands. Got'em for 30 bucks at Advanced Auto. No problems with them at all. You should be fine, as long as you block the back wheels too.
