Smoking the tires...
Did a search, and didn't find anything on it - Just curious but anyone know how to do a burnout with a manual tranny? I'm kind of reluctant to rev it and dump the clutch with the e-break up...I'm too worried I'm going to break something...any suggestions?

simple answer...... if you are worried about breaking something, then dont SMOKE THE TIRES! dumping the clutch w/ the ebrake up is not the worst thing in the world...but it does put extra strain on the cv axels, the clutch, the tranny, and other things.....but it sure is fun to do every now and then

You dont need your E-brake to do a burnout in a 5-spd Civic. Just dump the clutch at 6k-6.5k rpm and watch 'em smoke.

um, even if you do the bleach/soap thing on the tires, don't you need the break to help prevent yourself from accidentally grabbing road and launching forward

If you grab then you grap... its not going to kill anything because its not goign to go from 7k rpm to 2k. Don't be worried. And DONT USE BLEACH!! Unless you want a noxious cloud of death burnout that is toxic to people
