emblem question
ok, i have a question about painting the 'civic' and 'EX' emblems. i searched and didnt come up with anything. besides i dont think this has been brought up here before. ive seen the 'H' in red and i imagine i can get those from the dealer. heres the deal, i want to put the red 'H' in place of the stock chrome ones but i want the civic and the EX to match, is there a paint that i can use. i asked a buddy and he said that hes not sure if there is paint that would stick to the plastic and the chrome finish on there. i could probably sand it but it wont look as smooth. Please dont say "you should just shave your emblems" because i dont like shaved emblems and i would like to have red ones on there instead. thanks

Dude, just shave your emblems. j/k
Um... Maybe soaking them in something like gasoline might work? That might eat the chrome off. That or alcohol or nail polish remover. Something like that. Maybe turpentine? Try it all on the back of an emblem, so you won't screw it up if something goes wrong.
