E-bay's Items of the day....

I don't know if this has been posted before, but I saw these and just thought I'd share...
First we have this 2001 Civic coupe that's all tricked out. Wings West Body Kit, $5000 stereo system, 18" rims, blah blah blah...

And this "Stainless Steel Racing Downpipe" caught my eye. Has anybody seen this before? It looks like it replaces the bottom half of the header and the cat.

Again, if this has been posted before, feel free to ***** this thread out.

Whats with the dual exhaust?
I didnt read all the info on the page, but I thought Civic engines made it impossible to have a true dual exhaust?

IDQcivic should not be trusted
Yeah I've bought that reacing downpipe. i had to pay like 150 and now its only 109. I had to buy an o2 sensor simulator because the downpipe replaced the cat and tehre was no where for the sensor. Either way I think it opended up the air flow a little more, gained some power I think....

It's not impossible, but most people only do it for show because you loose power. (i think)

If you noticed that civic has a history meaning the car isn't worth much cause of theft, (bad title) they probably thought if they throw some money into it, they can make more back in return.

people dont put dual exhausts on stock engined civics because it sounds like complete and total ***. As well as it being more expensive, adding weight, as well as doing nothing for performance over a single exhaust.

All that "down pipe" is, is a frigging glorified test pipe. Its not going to do anything for your car (unless your running a turbo and you can somehow manage to hook it up to the turbo's exhaust manifold) other then make it:
A)illegal (will NOT pass smog)
B) annoyingly loud, and
C) make you CEL come on for a "bad cat"
