Lightbulb VTech Nut Story From Australia

I just thought this would be a great Idea to share this story with other gear heads. You guys better check out his Last and Final Build

Building and racing your own project cars is very interesting. Bill Pearson here is one of our car forum member and for over thirty years of building and racing his own project cars, his been winning many club championships and state titles along the way.

So now his just an old phart who mentors Juniors in our forum. icon smile VTech Nut Story From Australia (sorry bill) Bill thought he should attempt one last build before getting up off the garage floor from under a car got too difficult, or the saying “The older I get the faster I was” became too accurate a description for him LOL.

He just about to finish putting a J30A4 V6 into his EG Civic race car, and after all the fabrication and repainting he did. he decided to use it just as a tar car to avoid the never ending body damage that results from rallying. he had another stock EG just finished a great year in, but rather than modify it further for the dirt he sold it and decided to build his fifth and last buggy.

Unlike all of his others and those he’d be competing against, this would not contain any VW origins. It was time someone established a newer benchmark here in Newcastle than the 1940′s…

He’d start from scratch, with no other preconceptions other than to incorporate all the winning ideas he could gather into his last and final build. The challenge of actually still being able to drive the creation through the trees at speed he could put off until he got the beast finished.

Hope you guys enjoy comin’ along for the ride. It’s gonna be wild!
