Chrome rims-rusting?

i think most aftermarket rims are aluminum, stock are steel i think, i dont think the aluminum rusts, i also dont think that just bc u dont wash them that it will eat away at the chrome all that much, i mean if u dont EVER wash ur car stuff my happen, but i wash my shiot like 3 times a week.

it doesnt say where your from, but if your in a cold place, the salt thats poured all over the road will make your crome rims become rusty, its pretty nasty to see people not put there stock rims on for winter driving, also, if you have some decent aluminum rims, the same road salt can pit those nice aluminum rims. hope that helps.
