Rep Power: 0 Keep modding the car or trade?
I am trying to decide whether or not to keep my car and mod it the way I see fit, I should I trade it in for a 1995 Corvette? Yeah you read right. I just turned 25 (today actually) so my insurance is down a little. I have dreamed of Vettes since I was 8. They payments for that year Vette is roughly the same as my Civic. Insurance will obviously be more but not obscenely so, less than 400 a year I think. I don't have a girlfriend or kids or anything, so that rules out practicality. Any thoughts?

Rep Power: 0 Nice fast car! Kinda of a big jump from the vic...LOL I don't think vettes are very reliable. I see a very expensive car to maintain and drive. Although, you make the moolah, so you may as well use it for something you enjoy.

Rep Power: 0 Given the chance, I'd get the Vette. I love my Civic, but Vettes are what American Muscle Cars are all about. I prefer the new body style though. Or my favorite... a 1976 Stingray with a 454 !

Rep Power: 0 In case some of of the people reading this thread think that Corvettes are expensive, something to be dreamed about instead of obtained, a '95 Vette coupe goes for about $15,000-$16,000. My dad thought the same thing about Vettes, cost a hell of a lot of money, etc even though he makes a lot of money. I witnessed him buy one after admiring them from a distance. He waited almost 30 years and regrets not getting one sooner. Kind of funny though, people chalk it up to be a mid-life crisis, even though he's talked about it for years and years, so have I, now people are thinking I'm trying to imitate my father. Heh, they can kiss my tail lights. Right now the loan on my Civic is at the point where it's more than the car's worth. (Everyone hits that point sometime, I've only had it 6 months...) My dad's gotten cocky with his... So until my loan is straight and I find the right Vette, I'll drive my Civic with the same pride I'd drive a Vette. I get to have the car for 24 hours (birthday wish) Friday...maybe I'll post some pics!

Rep Power: 0 Just dont plan on driving it in the winter if you live anywhere where it snows ....I'm not a big fan of mid-90s Vettes though, but they are defintely nice cars...personally, I would go for a 78ish model before a mid 90s.
