Hi, I'm new here and....
*shock* I know nothing about cars
I didn't care for cars untill I actually got one. I just got a 02 Civic Lx and I'd like to keep it looking new to show it off to friends Anyways, I'd just like to introduce myself and hopefully learn expand my car knowledge here. My first question is how would I keep my car looking new? Thanks

When you wash and dry your car, ONLY use microfiber towels (they are usually blue or green and say MICROFIBER on the package) for washing. For drying ONLY use something called "the absorber". It comes in a plastic tube and works kinda like a chamois. These materials are made specifically not to scratch cars. If you use chamois or cotton towels or scrubs, etc, you WILL scratch your car. You can pick up both these items at most local auto parts stores. Don't let any other fabrics touch your car, and wax it fairly often and your car will stay scratch free (other than soccer moms opening their door into your car) and very new looking.
