I was not bashing EVERYBODY, only those that say these cars are POSs.
I wont get women with htis car??????????WHAT??????? U must be crazy man, EVERY ladie thats seen/riden in this car have been doin nothin but flirting and giving compliments!
TRUE, I DID ask 4 opinions, I just get irritated when people say this is a POS, IT IS NOT, you may not like the style, but it is built EXTREMLY WELL and has many upgrades.

Why are you disrespecting and calling us ricers?? Why does it gotta be like that. This is a honda civic site, not a Pontiac Fiero site. I wont dis on your car and say that it is a POS. American cars arent my thing, but I will not disrespect you and say that it is crap. You gotta think that if you come to a honda site and post pics of an american car you will get some people that will not like your car and you have to understand that when people express their feelings about your car and it isn't feelings that you like, their is nothing you can do about it. You posted the pics, You asked for it....All I gotta say is becareful with your fiberglass car. I hear only bad things about the fiero. I know the other model Fiero, was it the 2m4 used to catch on fire. I know of a few friends that had this happen to them. Also someone I know was killed in a head on collision while driving a fiero. The car just disinegrated. So what im trying to say here is that maybe you will beat me in a race in my 7th gen civic, but my car is safer & better in the long run, and will keep its value longer than your fiero will.

I just thought you might want to know that the Fiero is the SAFEST CAR in its class. It has *****5 star rating in front collisions AND *****5 star rating in side collision. Do you know how hard it is to get a 5 STAR RATING??????? That is a PERFECT rating.... VERY HARD. So I think my car is pretty safe, maybe not as much as yours, being bigger, but for my classification, im the safest guy out there! Oh yea, and fiberglass is lighter, dent resistant, non-rusting material. So I think its better. What would fiberglass have to do with safty anyways? Does the METAL SHEETING(doors,hood,trunk) effect the crash effect on your car? You think that that thin @ss metal is really strong or something? The FRAME DESIGN is what protects you, NOT your body panels!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah Fiero's are cool. But they were not dependable at all and caught fire often. You rarely ever see one on the road anymore, and there's a good reason for that.. they tended to stay in the shop broke down. I had two good friends that had Fiero's, when they first came out.

Yea, the early fieros (84-85) had problems with the I4 engine. In 86 they fixed that and also came out with the 2.8l L44 Multi-Port Fuel Injected High-Output 60* V6. In 87 they made a few minor changes to the engine. In 88 (mine) they made the 2.8 internaly balaced and COMPLETLY redesigned the suspension with the Lotus suspension. Oh yea, about reliability, my father bought a I4 coupe brand new in 88. No out-of-the-normal problems. He has NEVER rebuilt the engine, and when I took it for the vet, the guy said that I have the best running engine that hes seen in a long time! Said it passed the test with flying colors! Its not a reliability issue, in 84/85 they had problems.

ok u are bragging about a domestic which is ok. but u are bragging about a freaking Fiero. big mistake. those things are POS's no matter what u do. if u want a good car start with something with potenital. like lets say a 71' buick gs stage 1 and make it a 650 hp monster running the 1/4 in 11 flat. and even if it wasnt fast it would still look better all rusted out then a Fiero in perfect condition

YOU may think it looks better, all opinion. BUT, you are making yourself look like a dumbass, go with a car with potential? Like a 71' buick? HA, id like to see that thing take a nice corner at 100mph. If I wanted to go FAST in a STRAIGHT line, I would think about it. But if I want to go FAST in a straight line AND around the oh so nice corners, Ill stick with what I got. Remember, theres more than 1 type of potential. NOW, why dont YOU get a car with potential? That civic is good for gas milage, NOT speed OR handeling!

Oh yea, "a pos no matter what you do"............obviously you know nothing about these cars and nothing about there aspirated design. You might want to sush up till you know what your talkin about.

Dont get me wrong people, Im not saying civic are POSs, thier are well built vehicles, yet they dont have potential for being a race aspirated car. Now if you want to race, get a Fiero, but if you dont like the looks of the Fiero, get an MR2! As long as its mid-engine, rear wheel drive, you cant go wrong.

My personal opinion is that I don't like and never have like the Fiero's. They had a major recall because of the engines caught on fire, the suspension was made up of parts from the Chevette and Citation, and I personally don't like the looks. There can't be much said for a car that only lasted 4 years. Retail value of an 88 GT Fiero is $4,400. But hey, its your car and your money. That just my opinion. Take it for what you want.
