Compatiblity of Parts Between 2001 2002
Has anyone bought parts for there 2002 which you were told they would fit but it was labeled for a 2001 and had problems. Will 2001 catbacks fit on 2002 cars if the model levels are the same.? Has anyone tried this and had any luck. I dont want to mod the installs I would rather wait and get it done right.

do you think someone who can discuss the finer points of a distributorless ignition system wouldn't know theyre the same car (minus the rattles)

they are the same car execpt for wiper control and honda fixed the problems that people had with rattles and other stuff just minor differences but the drive train and the body of the car are the exact same.

So this would all lead to the fact that catbacks and intakes should fit between model years. I was asking cause I guy that came into my work said that he bought a couple different ram intakes and they didnt fit and that he couldnt find a catback and what not. So thanks for the info I was thinking the same thing but you never know when the designers try to switch something up and I didnt want to take the exhaust off and put it back on cause my new stuff has to be sent back cause if doesnt fit.
only difference I note is colored handles and mirrors///tiny details on the inside
but other than that crap ? WTF
quit bitchin about it being different man they are the SAME freakin CAR!

i notice a few difference between the lx and the ex...
the lx comes with a brown tool bag, while the ex comes with a black tool bag
lx is missing a little distribution block on the side of the engine, where ex has it's power distrubution
that's about it, the minor details
