Question about STICKERs???

I was driving around lately here in Washington state and I noticed something.
Everyone here is turning ricey or just wanting their $hit to be stolen.
The reason why is because they are putting the stickers they receive from the manufacturer of the part they just put in their car. I can see if you are sponsered by that manufacturer but to me it is just a waste of time.
The 7thGen sticker is the only exception because it just states that you are affliated with a group of Honda People but come on. Putting manufacturer stickers on your car is just like leaving your keys in your car. Theives are getting smarter and when they see manufacturer stickers on your car what do you think they will do next. To me it would be a waste of time for you to put the stickers on your car.

Just wanted to put my two cents.

sorry man... BUT... i totally disagree. I really dont think it matters if you have stickers on your car or not. Stickers add style to a ride... parking your car in a public place is taking a risk of your car being stolen...

Where i live (calgary)

Before when "the fast and the furious" dident come out and never existed there were alot of nice clean cars around but NOW after that movie i have begin to see a change
everyone is putting decals on there car like dragons, manufacturer of the part that they have in the car
but who am i to say that it looks stupid right?

but i do think it looks really stupid like lil stickers its alright you know
but the stickers im talking about are stickers that stick from the end of the car to the front and it is HUGE and looks very ugly IMO like a lil one is ok but not a big *** huge one
and also at the "asian"supermarket they have honda cars in the show rooms right? there used to be a black 2k1 civic with OEM kit lookin all nice and clean and when i went there the other day
they had a HUGE *** orange sticker from the end to the front of the car it looked very very ugly IMO
look what "the fast and the furious" has done to my cityYou also see alot of kids 15-17 i saw 15 because alot of dumb kids here get there "learners" then drive there parents car??fuggin dumbasses and these dumb 16-17 yr olds do there ricer fly by's in a 50 km/h zone they are doing about...80 km/h and that is fuggin fast because there are alot of pedestrian walk ways
i just hate what "the fast and the furious" has done.

I agree with regulator. Sometimes it is part of the deal, u get sponsored by someone or have their part, u show support by putting their name on your car. Now sometimes it can get to be too much, but other times they add style.

I can agree with the style but come on.
I have seen several cars with the manufacture stickers that take up their entire door panel or their
entire car is just sprawled with stickers that just don't make sense.
I.E.
Why do people put the windshield Sticker of CIVIC, PRELUDE, VTEC, or whatever on the car that they drive. It already has all the markings of what type of car you drive because of the manufacturer emblem.
THat IMO is just plain crazy, it is a waste of money.

i totally agree with NucRacer. i think it would be a whole lot better if ppl put their stickers under the hood. i was out in a parking lot and saw a Miata with a huge-*** JL audio sticker. so i thought, GEE, i wonder what he has in his trunk?
even before F&F, i never did like ppl sporting all those damn stickers. /rant
7thgencivic.com stickers ROCK!

I dont mind some stickers on a car, I see some of the guys on the site here have thing like AEM, Injen, ect.... on the sides, and as long as they are not 10 feet long and just small ones then I kind of like the look of them. Where I live people dont care whats under your hood, or in your trunk, they will either break in or they wont. But there are alot of people around here with POS cars all rusted out and have big @ss ALPINE, and NO FEAR stickers on their cars, now that I cant stand.

I think stickers can be done tastefully, sometimes. What gets me is when people put stickers on their ride that do not run those products, but that is me. I will put stickers on my car from those who have contributed and of course this sites sticker!

I'm not a big fan of stickers, It would be a different story if I was sponsoured by someone, then hell ya. But the majority of ppl are not sponsored so I say enless you use one or two adn do it very tastefully. Leave it in the movies!

funny how people would shave their emblems, only to spend 15 bucks on a big "civic" banner across their windshield

I think some stickers are cool...like the small ones on corner windows. I put AEM decals on my door but hated them after a while and took them off. They weren't big or anything (like 5" long) but they got on my nerves and they were a pain to take off and rewax! The best mod dollar for dollar are my 7thgencivic.com stickers though

This is an opinion post all the way. The point is this....If you like stickers, or want stickers for your ride then do it. They add a touch of personality and set your car apart from all the rest. Look at my ride...it's the only one with stickers like this on it. Dare to be different. Some people like them, some don't. However, I like the way they look alot, and that's all that matters in my book. Especially because they are red reflective, and they light up like a stop sign when people's lights hit them. Being unique is what it's all about for me.
