Decamo has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Does Ex handle better than other civics?

I've noticed that the ex has a rear sway bar while the lower model civics do not. Does this make the ex handle any better. I know it should but has anyone noticed a significant difference between models?

The reason why i ask is 'cause I have an ex (actually cdn si) and my car leans like mad on off ramps. Lowering it will definately help but I want to know about sway bar performance too.

Every little bit helps...... some Koni's with springs, and strut braces front and rear. Dont forget the wheels and tires.

Wheels and tires make a HUGE difference IMO. when i got my Nitto tires, which are wider, and rims. OMG, it handles a lot better, i can now take curves at 50 whereas i could only take them at about 40 before

My friend who drives an LX tested an EX and told me that it felt quite different with the sway bar. Lowering it, even by 1 inch will make a huge difference.

Either way..get an LX, or DX... buy an RSX rear sway bar... from what I hear it's a very easy job to install and presstty inexpensive too

The EX has thicker sway bars than the other models and also has the closest ratio gears too.

This must be new, I recall the 2001 model did not have a sway bar in the rear.
