Cigarette Burns !!!

Im soo mad! last night on way home from work, i was having a cigarette. now let me tell you that i NEVER smoke in my car, no matter what! so, anyways, im having a cigarette, and i go to throw it out the window and it came right back in, but i didnt know until like 5 mins later when i started smelling something. So, i pull over, and there's this big *** burn mark in floor mat in the back seat. I was sooo pissed. I still can't believe it. SO, now what am i supposed to do? i know that no matter what i do nothing will cover it up, it's like the size of a nickel. Doesnt anybody have a beige floormat left over from like a custom interior job? I dunno, im just complaining cuz i know if i go to honda, they're gonna charge me up tha *** for a stupid floor mat. Anyways, what would you guys do?

How much is the honda shop asking for a mat. On some things they are not as exprnsive as you think. Of course they are not going to be like the great WAL-MART and the whole set for like $5.00 but I guess it would depend on how much you are willing to spend.

Same thing happened to me in one of my cars. Only I didn't notice for a few weeks. I am cleaning the car out and find a spot the size of a quarter and a cig butt sitting there! It sucked big time. Nothing you can do really unless you have tan interior. On a light interior you can dye the fabric to get rid of the burn look. I still smoke in my car. I wouldn't have a car I couldn't enjoy and was always scared about something happening. That's why I got rid of my last car.

<< Good thing it was ONLY your floor mat. I had a brand new 92 Escort GT, and when I was traveling from LA to El Paso I flicked my cig out, it came back in and burned my rear seat. Good thing I didn't catch the car on fire, cuz I had a lot of flamables back there too. >>

Definately a floormat is better than a seat or any other part of the car those are cheaper to get fixed.
