I don't know about some people, I mean a sedan can't be go it has to be all show for one. For a 2k1 to be all show and a sedan, well its just a waste of money to me. I am not haten just representing. Over half the people on this site probably agree. Watch now every sedan owner will be pissed and write somthing back. If it were an older sedan civic it would be fine because you could do a motor swap to add to the list of mods. I do have the right to say this because a sedan is a family car not a show car. Why else would you buy a sedan if you didnt need it for a family car. You don't need the room , you have the trunk and hopefully you dont carry as much stuff so you need to fill up the back seat. Alright let me hear your comment, Just don't be immature and say somthing stupid. If you have an opinion let it be somthing realistic and has a point to it. No offense to civic owners just saying they are not a car for shows or go.

I personally don't like the way they made the new sedans. The tail lights is what killed it for me. But, That's my opinion. A sedan owner may think his car looks bad [IMG]i/expressions/moon.gif[/IMG] and wants to hook it up. That's his perogative. If we all agreed on everything everyone would own the same car and opportunities for originality would be more scarce than they already are.
So anyway, although I don't like the rear styling of the sedans, I do think that with a little work they can look pretty nice. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/IMG]

Umm, last time I checked coupes and sedans have the same engines, sedans are just a little bigger...a little bit more weight. So if coupes could be "go", why can't sedans?

Rep Power: 0 i'm one of the sedan owners, and i actually prefer it over the coupe. and it's functional. i dont' have to have it functional all the time, but for those times when there are four people in the car, there's no seat jockeying, and when i have to move back home for the summers, it's easier to get stuff in the car with the extra doors. but if you're hating on sedans cause they're "all show and no go" with the misconception that coupes HAVE any quickness, you're sadly mistaken. the coupes are no faster than the sedans, and to think that having just two doors makes them faster is a mistake. they have the same exact thing under the hood, and there is no way a cheap engine swap is going to happen in either. so don't be hating on the sedans, they're all civics under the hood anyway.

ITS THE SAME DAMN CAR! plus, i thought the whole idea behind "hooking up your ride" was to be DIFFERENT... and from what i've seen, 80% (or more) of modded civics are coupes. i chose the sedan because i wanted the civic, but not the civic everyone else had. (and personally, i don't like the coupe's rear end at all -- is that a focus there, sport?) a sedan isn't a "family car", either. is that your first thought when you see an M5? minivans and SUVs are family cars to me. i'm single, and rarely have more than one other person in the car... but when i do, they can let themselves out, thank you very much! fine; i'm lazy, too lazy to get out and move the seat back and forth and sh.... but my car is different than yours, and i didn't even have to put altezzas on it! lower insurance rate, too [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
i don't remember who's civic that is (i downloaded the pics of my favorites a while ago) and even though its mostly stock (european model however), its one of the best-looking, cleanest civics i've seen.

Rep Power: 0 I was never big on the 7thGen sedan either, but then I got on this site and have seen what some people can do with them, and now I think they are killer. I have seen some sedans that are lowered and have body kits and look nicer then the coupes.

In my opinion the two extra doors add more wheight to any car.
In older model Civics you have more to work with as far as the engine is concern.
All of our cars have the handicap of a slow engine and the only way to make them fast is by using Nitrous and taking as much weight as possible out of them.
Looks, are the best feature for our cars till we figured how to get the turbo system to work and the engine swaped.
It will happen is just a matter of time.
For now I'll stick to show till I have the $$$ to do something about speed.

Rep Power: 0 Why is everyone pissin and moanin about this. This site is supposed be a community for civic owners. I personally drive a coupe, but that is my personal preference. I know many people who prefer the sedan. Both cars are great and some one should not be criticized for there preference.

Rep Power: 0 alright "numberone"honda , i am also a sedan owner and for one thing i am 18 years old and i don't have a family , i bought my sedan because i liked the looks of it and although the rear isn't as nice as the coupes with a little modding it will look better, i also bought it cause i don't like shifting around to fit 4 people in a 2 door coupe, and that is why i never even bothered looking at or testdriving a coupe ( i knew it wasn't for me) , the final reason i bought my sedan is that the majority of modders drive coupes, thats fine, but its a lot easier to stand out when you drive a vehicle that everyone doesn't mod already, and ain't that the point of modifying a car , not that i got that out, i hope you at least realize that sedans and coupes aren't all that diffrent and stop being so damn ignorant...

I have a sedan and bought it because I have a family. However, once you get used to having those extra 2 doors, it will be hard to go back. It's great when going out with friends, throwing your brief case in the back, or for toting a case of beer.
I am in the process of modding my sedan. I love the way the car looks and my ONLY complaint about the rear of the car is how high it sits. Sedans look awesome when one applies some personality to them. The white sedan pictured above is by far the best looking vic I have seen on this site or on the road imo.

Rep Power: 0 You're not going to get any intelligent answers to this remark. I am not a family owner and I chose the car because I like the way it looks over the coupe. I alsol like not having the front doors being so big. What's your problem? You don't like sedans, I don't care.
If you notice most of the cars here are coupes. I wanted to be different. Plus I have space to have my friends ride with me when I need to or carry skis in the car. Bottom line is, the car I have serves all my purposes and I can make it look the way I want it to look.

Rep Power: 0 I love my sedan a million x more than the coupe....my car is fully loaded and makes me happy everyday I drive it....I am also in the process of modding it up with the oem kit like E8S....And there are hardly any modded sedans out there so mine will be a crazyer looker compaired to your coupe...just look at the IS300...4dr....WRX 4dr.....BMW 4dr.....The coups are ok...but when I went to the dealer and saw my white vic sitting there...I was sold in a second...and no coupe could change my mind....And I love that when it is -30 out...in Edmonton....I don't have to get out to let ppl in....I think I will be a 4dr man for a long time because of my 2k1 sedan....I love it off....
