Need help! Do you trust people? I don't!
Ok, so I ordered my rims. Ummm, when I called up he asked for all my info, including my credit card number and all that mumbo-jumbo.
Is that how it usually goes if I order from a place? He said even if I ordered from the internet he would still get the number...

You two have to come to an agreement of payment. He isn't supposed to act like he has everything under control if you give him valuable information. That just sounds like B.S.. CUT THE CARDS FIRST. Work things out where you know you'll be satisfied with how you'll pay and how he'll send you your rims. If you can't come to an agreement, you're buying from the wrong person.
Soni Civic has a point, finally. lmao.... You can trust him!

Why wouldn't he ask for all your info? How else is he supposed to process your order over the phone? I am assuming you are buying from and online store or something of the sort.
Yes, that is the way it goes if you are buying with a credit card. If you want to get around that, you could send a certifed check, or money order, but then that takes time. Just buy from a reputable place, you should have no problems. Another option is to pay via pay pal...but the dealer has to be set up for that, but at least you dont give them your number, instead your credit card pays into his pay pal account, you still pay, but you keep you number confidential. Ebay sellers and buyer use the option a lot. But yep, thats the way it goes, welcome to the world of plastic! One more point, just remember, when you buy anything locally with your credit card, whether its gas, or at a restaurant, allllllllllllllllllllllllllll those people can peek at your credit card number....ever think of that? kinda scary, but I have yet to have any problems, and you do have protection through the credit card companies or banks, just tell them ASAP when you see anything improper on your bill...if you don't you will be responsible....
