Yeah, it looks much better than the last gen tiburons. I still think they over did the shark theme though, with the little front lip and the side gills.

Hello?!? Read, "Same engine as Santa Fe". . .can we say. . .ENGINE SEIZURE? I normally don't believe things like that until I have proof, but just last week a brand new Santa Fe (still had 30-day tags on it) seized up right in front of my Baby on the highway at 45mph. Serious under the hood problems, seriously underdeveloped vehicle.

I think they look better in pictures than they do up close. I have seen quite a few around my area, and they are nothing to get too excited over.

Hey people, don't knock souping up Hyundais....

I don't know how old you guys are, but I remember when me & my friends started souping up Hondas, Toyotas & Nissans.. back in '91... people used to laugh at us.

They said "Get a real car!" and yelled "Oohhhhh HONDA!!" ....... "You need that big pipe in the back just so you can sound like a REAL car..."

Now everyone's trading in their Stangs & Camaros for Civics & Integras. I'd love to see who will be the players in the import tuning scene 5 years from now. With ever the rising prices with Hondas & Acuras (even used ones), I wouldn't be too surpsied to see Hyundais & Kias make a big splash on the scene. Young guys at 16 don't have a lot of money, and picking up a used Tiburon at the half the price of a Civic ain't that bad. Faster too. And they don't really think about reliability & quality. If that's your #1 priority, you really shouldn't be souping it up anyway.

Back when folks were knocking hondas it was because they were "ricer" cars or they were "underpowered"

I knock hyundai b/c they're about as reliable as a fiat

Actually they are becoming more reliable... improvements every year.

Besides....... freakish things happen, like things going bad in a Honda after 5 years. If you'd bought a Hyundai, your *** would've been covered for 10 good solid years!
