MY FRIEND HAS A 94 CIVIC AND IS STOCK JUST LIKE MINE WE HAVE THE SAME MODEL AND BOTH ARE STICK AND HE CAN NEVER BEAT ME I DONT THINK ITS THE DRIVER I GUESS ARE 2K'S ARE BETTER THAN THE 94'S

not really both have their good and bad points..t he 94's had good ole fashioned Distribut type ignitions whereas our civics have a distributorless ignition system....The 94's have 106hp and 10cc's less displacement.. they weigh a hair or 2 less..less torque...better suspension fomat....but the 2k1's are quicker than the stock 5th gen civics...

and i think 2k1's have 1700 engines while the lower gens have 1600....

94 SI's(in canada) EX's in US.. thr LX's DX's and CX's all had 106.. and 103ft.lbs of torque at like 5200RPMS (unsure but it was somethign rediculous like that)

i think sadboy is talking about the 94 si, sohc vtec 125 hp....the 94 dx had somwhere around 92-95 hp, mowakboom, you're thinking 96+........

also I dont thinkyour taking into account it bein 8 yrs old.... unless he took really good care of it.. and has had the whole thing cleaned inside an out to get rid of gunky build up... his hp an acceleration isnt what it used to be

I used to have a 5th gen civic dx and it had 102 hp, the cx had less than that

nah its a ex and i am pretty sure he has 125 hp
