Civic Si owner calls out a Corvette...and spanks his ***! (On a Corvette forum no less)
OK, this race story is as good as it gets. It's been going on recently at a Corvette forum..... funny as hell and it well worth the reading !
This Civic Si owner was just hanging out on a Corvette forum minding his own business, and this Corvette owner started pissing on him and his car. So the Si dude calls him out : a race for $100, mano-a-mano... i.e., he basically tells the vette guy to put his money where his mouth is! They find out that they live very close to each other and race each other the very next day on a deserted stretch of road.
This is the main thread where the Si dude calls him out:

The Corvette guy then starts a poll for what he should do with the $100 he's sure he's going to win... really pissing on the Civic dude:

And...... here's the last thread with the results of that race:

I think we should all bow down to this Civic guy for what's he's done for the Honda Civic name.

Had the drivers been equal the Civic would have been blown away. I have to admit I laughed pretty hard when the vette driver got toasted. All the HP in the world doesn't do you any good when you can't connect it to the pavement.

Rep Power: 0 A Civic SI doesn't even have that much horsepower to begin with. A turbo slapped on it won't even push a stock C5 Vette, which has 345HP at the wheels. I own an Civic, my dad owns a modified Vette and has never lost. That Vette driver shouldn't be allowed to even ride the bus if he can't beat an Si. Obvious b.s., but kinda funny.
