Hwoody77 can only hope to improve
I went to the track again....

This time I ran a 16.4, 16.4, and a 16.3.

It's weird though, my sixty foot times were similar to my last runs, BUT it was after 60 feet where I started to lose speed.

My trap speed was 2-3 miles slower and my ET's were a little slower.

The only thing I can think of is that I changed my oil the day before to synthetic 5W-30. Maybe I should change to a 10W-30?

Hey Hwoody, what rpm do you take off at?? I've been taking off at 4000 rpm and my best time to date is a 16.63...... I take out the spare tire (i got a 4dr ex 5-speed) and I still never have deflated my tires to 20 psi. I'm thinking that if I start doing that then maybe I can drop to a 16.4......what do you think??

p.s. thanks for the tips you gave me a while back, I'm getting much better reaction times now (when I began they were like 1.18 but now I'm in the low .7's and last week I got a .669-I'm happy but I'll be really happy when i get in the .5's )

Aren't our cars supposed to use 5W-20?

Either way, those times are still better than mine(LX). Maybe the 15.8 was a fluke

hmm. wonder what peeps are going to say about this. heh.

well, 16.3 is still pretty fast.

the smaller number is winter viscosity, won't matter when the engine is warm

Have you thought about the temperture on the 2 days that you ran? Maybe, it was a bit colder the first time you ran her.
