JDM importing.

Yeah, yeah... you know what I want, right? (If not, it's in my sig.)

Anyways, out of curiousity - if I were to import a JDM 2001 Integra Type R, would it meet the California emmisions laws? (Does it even have a cat converter?) I was thinking that all Hondas were LEV vehicles, but I don't know if that applies to the JDM ones.

There's an ad for importing skylines in the new SCC issue... if I sold my civic, I could almost have enough to get an old base model one!!

Thank you! That's all I needed to know (on top of an import Type R). Since it's not worth importing, I'll stick with USDM Integra Type Rs.

Having a nice front end, and a Honda Integra, and righthand drive, could make it worth importing. Just get one that's 2 years old. The japanese export most cars that are 2-3 years old anyway, due to extreme taxation. See my sig for a JDM Type-R.

I think the S15 Silvia would be my car of choice to import. It's beautiful, it's fast, and it's not outrageously expensive like the Skyline. However, if you have 80 grand to burn, don't hesitate in visiting skylinegtr.com to check their inventory of new R34 GT-R Vspecs

you could do a S13, or S14 conversion for much less $$$. that's actually something I really want to do myself.
