Shift **** cover
My dad got this off the Corvette forum, but I thought it was a nifty idea for those of us who have polished/aluminum/whatever shift ****. Buy a 4 ounce bottle of Crown Royal at your local liqour store. It comes in a small, purple bag. You use the bag to cover the shift ****. That way it doesn't burn or freeze your hand.
