With all the locking of threads and what not I couldn't get a word in about your car. I typed up a response, but before I could post it the thread was locked.
Post your car's pics in the Member's Rides section. I remember that you had your pics there once.
I don't think I've commented on your ride yet. Here goes...
First off, the color is nice. Many people don't like Inca Pearl, but when it's polished like yours then it looks really nice. I think the mixture of body kits works allright, but makes the car look quite busy. Same thing goes for the fenders. I don't like features borrowed off of other cars. I really like what you did with the projectors. Hawt! I will paint mine my body color when I get them.
Those air splitters on the front bumper look gross. They pointed downwards and that makes them look crooked plus they're silver. What's up with the silver? I've seen some really nice carbon fiber ones that I think would match well with your carbon fiber hood. I'de get those instead. Your big fog lights need to be moved up somewhat. Do you have enough room there to move them up? They look like they're too low.
The grill color is hawt! Black matches well with the inca pearl. Your rims must weigh a ton huh? They're 18's and they're one piece. How much do they weigh? The 18's that I've got my eyes on are 18.6lbs. Wings West mini-me spoiler is hawt! I like small spoilers. They blend into the car well. There's probably more that I could comment on, but I'de need to see more pics.
Anyway, overall you've got a ton of time and money invested in your car and I think it's a nice package. Get that dent fixed though. I have one that needs attention too. I get so into new mods that I forget that the car needs some TLC itself from wear and tear.

That's a real review.
See kiddies? This is how you tell what you don't like about someone's car without sounding like a complete a$$hole.
All I gotta say is sweet ride Supermex.
All I gotta say is sweet ride Supermex.
i got to see Hectors car in person for the daytona meet and i have to say you need to see it in person to really appretiate(sp?) the beauty of that car. some may say its busy looking but who ever won a car show for being conservative? i think that car is hot and i could only dream of doing things i have seen on that car. i think everything blends well there are touches of silver around the car to allow for the silver air splitters on the front bumper. the rims are awsome i could be wrong but i believe hector built that car for shows not the race track and so the 18 inch rims were a good choice in my opinion, they go very well with the car. of course this is all my opinion, To each his own right?
just my .02
just my .02
How dear you talk about my car like that?
he, he just kidding
I hope you'r having a good holliday, I wish you all well.
I meet with Phill last night the guy from Cocoa beach with the nice red 2k1civic, we got stuck in the parking lot till 1am at La Fiebre.
Phi have a manual VTEC, I'm envious is really cool nice body kit.
He will start showing his car with us and we'll be doing his graphics in two weeks over my house we will post pictures.
That was a great review on my car, thanks Grey for showing a good example keep up the good work.
My car is getting a little busy I agree, I was not really for graphics I like a cleaner look, but I was missing on points at the shows.
Is vinyl any way, can be removed.
The wings are a bit uniform cause then bottom of the front Octaine bumper is unperfect, they are gone.
Wheels are heavy but look great, my wish is to have a set of light weight 15'' or 17" wheels (like the ones on Fly's car) with sticky tires that I can race with and show on the side of the car at the carshows just need some $$$.
But I'll never let the MOMOS go.
Eventually I'll replace my sound box that wheigts about 100lbs with fiber glass.
The dent on the back was caused by heavy winds at the show, Chris our young member almost got hit by a metal rail that fell in top of my car, but he is OK just minor bruses.
The show coordinator is going to pay for the damage and will send me a set of tail lights for our troubles that I will give to Chris for his car. ( he worked his a$$ of with me at the shows last weekend)
My car is going back to the shop next week.
Custom paint job, carbon Fiber roof and trunk will be on for the next show, June 2nd if all goes well.
Will keep the basic Inca Pearl (sorry for some) is just a good color and the judges dig it.
I'll try to post pictures as the work is done.
All this work will be done free of charge by the good car people of Kissimmee, All Pro, Jimmys Carbon Fiber works, and Rain maker & Sunshine local artist/ bikers.
It will be a town project!
Hope we'll have a large turn out for the next meet/show.
I have a good size house with plenty of room for dose who have to travel, welcome to stay here.
Pimdakota, peace man you car is coming along great and I'm not just saying that, I mean it, I saw the pics.

That carbon fiber roof and trunk should be bas ***! The carbon fiber will run through the center of your car. I can almost picture it. That's what I was thinking of doing, but it would be kind tough. You'll need to make forms for both the hood and the trunk. Then apply carbon fiber weave and set the whole thing up with that gel. Should look really good. Can't wait to see the results! Wait, how the hell are you going to do the trunk? Just the top of it I could see, but the whole thing? Complex!
That's freaky that the dent was caused by wind! Then again, I have something on my trunk that was probably caused by something falling from a tree. Don't you wish we had deflector shields like in Star Trek? I do! That's a good idea to have two sets of wheels. Many people do that. One set for racing and one for show. K3wl.

I'm just as puzzled about how the trunk will be done, that stuff is a bit out my league.
I'll find out when is done.
There was a booth at the Daytona show called the 48 hours challenge in witch they were hooking up 2k1Civic with a lot of moods using all the parts from the shops at the show and the trunk was being reproduced with Fiber Glass.
We didn't see the results, but I did order a DVD that will feature all the events during that show. I'll find out then how it was done.
About the fog lights being too low, they are! it was the single most frustrating mood on that car, man, it was a pain to have them center.
No room to get them just right it took about 6 hours of doing an
re- doing.
Dose body kits are full of inperfections.
well worth it, though, it was foggie last week and I could see just fine using the Hellas by it self.
(Sorry about the mispelling and grammar, English is my second lenguage still have problems with it)
But I'm working on it

Hey,
This proves SuperMex's ride *is* SPECIAL....
I mean his ride alone has caused more threads to be locked then any other thread this year. Countless replies.
Hey, any buzz good or bad is always good in the end.
Nice job SuperMex....
You are now KNOWN

<< anyone want to donate some linkage to the pics of supermex's ride? >>
I've got a feeling, somehow this thread as well is going to be locked. I sure hope not.

It has being very interesting the last few days.
I have not received so much hate mail since I posted
(Were is all the white women at?)
On a KKK web site
not really.
I do apreciate the good comments and support, as well as the constructive critisism, I think we all learned somethings even with the ugly comments. I almost found my self all raped up on it,
If it wasn't for some of you guys that brough me back to my senses
( you know who you are) thanks.
Is amazing to me how quick some people are ready to go to battle over insignificant issues. To bad
But there is still good people out there and that is very encouraging.
Representing 7gencivic.com on a possitive way is important to me.
