Hey,
After reviewing this thread, the whole freaking thread.
I love the fact that alot of people after getting in their insults or whatever say "lock the thread" so infact they would have the final word. Incredible.
This thread should be kept going, nothing in here IMO warrants it to be locked. Only the grammar thing seems out of place, everything else has been about the car.
If he is "cocky" about his civic, so what? I'm guessing he put ALOT of time and money into his civic, I dont' know his situation but I will assume he has paid for it all, so I would think he has a right to feel the way the has about his car.
For people saying his car is nothing special, that is just absurd, I mean look at it. If you don't like it, thats not the point, it stands out and is special.
It could be a special piece of crap in your eyes, but different it is.
If I'm not mistaken this is a 2k1 civic site, a 7th Generation site, for fans and people who have the 7thGen Civics. For someone to do that to their car, and put that much effort, wether I like it or not, deserves some props for the devotion into *our* cars.
Would I personally do that to my car? No, but I admire his devotion to make his car stand out from the others.
Criticism is always apart of the game, but constructive criticism should always be present, we all should be mature enough to take and dish out constructive criticisms.
If I paid $5000.00 on my mods and asked for opinions, and X people say "That is the ugliest thing" or " What the hell is that" or whatever, I would get pissed.
Those are not constructive criticims, and just downright disrespect IMO....
So I see where Supermex is coming from with his replies in previous threads.
Anyway, whatever I have spent too much time in this reply. I really don't care.

Is nice to know that only 10% of this forum so far are the ones that only have negative or rude comments.
The sad part is that there are platinum , supermember, moderators among them.
I will assume that this guys are for 7thGenCivics, all of them!
Go figure.
I do most of the work my self with the help of the good car people of the Kissimmee community who seen the potensial of a little car and a guy that works out of his garage,some times till the sun comes out.
To make his mark and to show that the new gen. Civic can be just as fast and good looking as the past generation Civics
I've met a lot of the members here in Florida, they are a good bunch and i like to help with advice , parts or just organizing our local meetings. I learned a thing of two from them too.
If some one is going to attack my caracter at least get to know me before you do.
I'm a guest on this site and I respect the hard work that Derek and associates have done here.
So from now on I'll not answer any flaming or hate comments cause the people that dis out can't take, it and it gets out of control.
This guys make their own reputation as I have received PM's from other members that have experience this dudes trashing and flamming comments when some one show a car better than theirs that is just a sign of weaknes and stupidity.

And you saying your car is so damn fast, well, why don't you take a guess at how fast it would be if you didn't have all that extra $hit on there? Not everyone wants a flashy (ugly) car, they go for the sleeper look dumbass. So when you get your *** kicked by a stock looking car, just remember that body work and all that ish isn't what matters when it comes to speed.

I agree, but you shouldnt make your car out to be the fastest as Ive seen in previous posts...im sorry but If I throw a Turbonetics kit onto my Si and bottlefed it your 2k1 isnt going to come close to it

Rep Power: 0 no I have a 6th gen Si. and a 7th gen EX which is a slow piece of crap. You are a hypocrite saying there are people who say what they get yet you have fact..when you just say "my turbo will be ready in a couple months"...there have been plenty of ppl saying they were going to get turbo for a 7th gen and have never been heard from again..so if your going to do it do it and post pics..and no where did I say that I was getting turbo I said IF I DID have it your 7th gen would be toast since you claim your LX is so fast... Maybe you should read threads before you decide to get smart with people.
