Got A Celica Everyone
Just bought a Celica GTS a couple of hours ago. Black, 6spd, leather, 16"alloys, and oh yeah, an action package baby. Still have my civic, but I am now looking for a buyer. Thanks everyone for helping me out with all my problems, but the car was dam# nice. I think Im going to still hang out around here and see whats up, but I now am the owner of a GT-S.

Rep Power: 0 I have no idea how to do it. I tried uploading pics onto this site from my car, but they were too big to load and I cant figure out how to shrink them down. Grey knows what Im talking about. I tried to have him do it, but I couldnt even fit 1 pic into a file to email it to him. I'll figure it out here in a couple days hopefully, and I'll do it.

Rep Power: 334 damn thats kool.. is TRD fully supporting the new celica? becuase i know they have a full body kit out.. which is epensive *** helll!!.. i was gonna get a GTS too.. but the back seats were a lil to small.. and i always go out with alot of ppl.. so i got the civic, more room. man it would be baddass to see a turboed celica..
i wish mugen or spoon would start supporting the 7th genz...

Rep Power: 0 definitely need to get the OEM TRD kit for your new gt-s, I know it's expensive as hell but I've seen a gt-s upclose with it (blue) and holy sh*t that car looked nice [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/IMG]

congrats on your new car!!! I was lookin at those before i saw my baby at the honda dealer. All i have to say is...you might be laughin now when you scream by a 2k1 civic, but as soon as someone figures out how to do a K20 swap...you'll be sorry

he has the action package which means he has the kit. ( i think )

i love the action package on the celica. it looks clean and agressive.

but the GTS will never smoke a RSX-S
im not putting ya down but my friend's GTS <---all the mods that are out for it he has. even the AFC from apex-i!
u will get about 175 to the wheel, well its really harsh there are no turbos out for the gts but for the GT there are alot of parts out turbo and SC hehehe
well good buy on the gts!
i wish i can have that much dough to get a better car!

Rep Power: 0 Don't worry about all the forced induction being for the GT. That isn't 100% true. Blitz is bringing a SC kit out that supposedly will manhandle ALL. And also i believe XS engineering has a turbo kit for the gts but it is WAY TOO $$$$. They sell it for something like 6000! Since its the only one on the market i guess some people out there will pay it. oh well, Enjoy the car, and don't smoke too many civics. peace

By the way, how's the shifter on that thing? I heard that it's a difficult 6-speed gear-box. DON'T MIS-SHIFT ON THE FREEWAY. Make sure when you go to 4th from 3rd, you're not going back to 2nd if you go fast in 3rd. A 6-speed will do that to ya.
