anyone seen the suzuki aireo? lol the commercial says.. better accelaration, more horsepower, and more features standard then honda civic and focus..

Yea they have 2 suacide(cant spell) doors they only open when the front ones open..The Rx-8 looks pretty coo

well itz a stupid 4dr. i'd pick our other honda sibling over that pos mazda. get the S2000. s2000 is way much better and more reliable than that rotary engine. member the rx7? u had to rebuild the dang thing at 60000 wether u race or not. Stik with honda man. mazda lost the sport car war here in the us. honda won. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG]

I have to agree with GTR here. Just because there are no other japanese sports cars (Honda S2000, and NSX), doesn't mean that honda won...

I agree with that, what did Honda have to put up against the Supra and the RX-7? The NSX- which hardly anyone can afford.

Yeah, Saturn has had them on their SC model for a while. Only one one side though. I think they were the first to have that style of door on a coupe.

The new RX8 will run around the 30grand mark. According to mazda it will not get a turbo, as they are not going for the performance market. they are going for the sporty sedan market. (nissan altima anyone?) Mazda has discussed possibly bringing out a new RX7 for the sports car side. The RX8 runs high 14's-mid 14's or so in the 1/4. And although it has 250hp, it has taller gearing and it is a bit heavy. But that is quick for a sporty sedan. You also have to look at it as a 2.6liter if you are wondering how it does for hp/liter. A rotary engine makes power every cycle, as where normal EFI engine make power once every other cycle. Volumetric efficiency would be calculated by essentially doubling the engine size on a rotary.
As for the 350Z, this car is also going for the sporty sedan type market. This car will run from 26,000 for the base and as high as 35,000 for the sportiest version. (the sportiest version runs about a mid 14 1/4 mile but is much better at handling). Again, this car is headed for competition against the RX8, nissan altima, etc. (honda is also soon to be coming out with a 260hp accord, and 5-speed man-tranny) [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
