Rep Power: 350 nice choice in cars. what color u planing on getting? i think your first mod should be a new front air intercooler bc the intercooler on it now is right about the engine.

For one thing, the price issue.
When and if the STi comes over it will be in the high 20's and probaly around $28,000 -$30,000 to compete against the Mitsu Lancer EVO VII.
And if your already at that price range, why not just wait save some more to get a BMW M3, and if your at that price range why not get a ........ and so on......
If the situation can allow you to wait and that is the car you really want, then wait but the WRX isn't a bad choice either.
BTW, the downpipe is said to be the best bang for your buck mod for the WRX.

Rep Power: 0 about waiting for the STi: $. its all about $ and i could care less about going a little faster, with a few K, my car will whoop on almost any V8. and thats all i care about. cocky V8 bastards are strutting their stuf around town, just wait till Z gets his WRX.
as for the first mod, i would prob get the TurboXS CAI. 13.9 hp dynoproven. all that for less than 2 bills. then i would prob get all my guages, since i would prob never get them if i saved for anything else. oh, the BOV, ooooooohhh....I CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
btw: downpipe is one helluva improvement. i would also recommend i-club.com for anyone interested in the WRX.
