civ/del sol question

walking around in my univ. I happened to notice for the third time this week there is this blue del sol with the word civic to the left of the license plate (rear of the car) and the words del sol to the right of the license plate. I don't think the owner of the del sol put civic on the back of his car for fun so I'm wondering why Honda put both the words civic and del sol on the back of the car?
