NEED IMMEDIATE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!NOW!!!
Its 3:51 pm in seattle where i live! I am registered to hot imprt nights! Anyways to register your car you have to send a picture email. So i did. Now i am getting emails from APC, you know the parts company! They want to put my car in their display at the seattle show. They want my address to send me parts and merchandise to put on my car. And they are gonna overnight me a parts catalouge since their site is down, so i can decide what i want.
The question i have for all of you is============ what do you think i should do?
Now when you respond i want you to put your age next to the reply! I am not trying to be a jerk! i am just taking a poll on

Rep Power: 0 20. Personally, unless they are going to be a full time sponsorship, I wouldn't do it. APC is known for sh*tty products, and rice gear. Don't bring your car down, it looks so freaking good now.

Your car looks phat like it is!!! If you put anything APC on it, I'd do a few little, interior things. And if they want to put stickers on your car, just make sure you can take em off after the show!!

Look at Vince Carter, signed with Puma and then when Nike comes knockin', had trouble releasing his contract with Puma. Now he's still signed with Hyundai... don't ask me why. (just an example)

I'd say that as long as u don't have to sign a contract to keep their products on your car for a certain amount of time--let them hook you up then turn around and re-sell everything--just a thought. who knows, u might like some of it...lol--BTW--i'm 20

Rep Power: 419 25: Hum... Kinda a toughie. APC makes some crap for nuts products, so I don't know? You could get CF altezza's. That would go with your black theme. You could get their mirrors and paint them black. That might work. I don't think they have power mirrors though. They've got a 4-1 racing header that's not too bad. They've got some monkey bars, but for show use only. At least they'de look good though. They've got a chrome fire extinguisher that's functional and looks good. I don't know if they'de let you have that though since it doesn't say APC on it. You could get their k-rad disc brake simulators. Ooh! j/k They've got a CF hood that looks allright and it would go well with your NBP. They've got some aluminum spoilers, but I wouldn't get one unless it was of the tiny variety. They've got certain bulbs that might work well. That's about it. I think you're getting at the whole issue of should you get sponsored by a company that makes ricey products. Hum... They make some good products as well, so I don't know? Your choice.

And who knows where this might lead, maybe someone else might be interested in sponsoring your car. So I say, why not? You may make some good contacts....could be very nice

APC will rice out your car. just cause its free doesnt mean its good. and dont be a sell out to that kinda thing. to me its like being a snowboarder and selling ourself to nike. nice little sport signing to a big gizzay name just because... so yours would be a nice little civic signing to a big gizzay name, just isn't worth it in my opinon.

Rep Power: 0 OK every body this is what i did! I sent them an email that states that i want parts that can easily removed after the show! He told me i could have anything! Here is my list!
Apc fire extinguisher
those apc diamond plate floor mats
01 civic show tubes
01 civic carbon fiber hood
and some engine dress parts!
So if get these parts then ill sell them later! And i told him i was on a website car forum!! he asked if i knew anyone who would like to get hooked up in the next citys that H.I.N is going to then email him with names and email addresses!
And of course its always the best car with most mods wins tropheys so i guess this will give me a better chance!! Thanks again!

Rep Power: 0 Pimp...You're ride is so clean...I honestly think that lettin them put their stuff are your car is ok...BUT....make sure you ok each and every piece...!!!!!!
What I mean is...your going for a very clean and sleek look...make sure anything they put on doesn't take away from what you've been trying to achieve...For example...don't let them throw a huge bright sticker across the side of the car that turns the ride into a advertisment banner for them...Tell them you want it clean...not gaudy...and make sure they clear each mod with you...
Engine dress-up...Some wild lighting setup for your custom truck setup...and maybe some other stuff....Just don't let them RICE too much!!!
You've worked hard to make your car acheive the style it has...Don't sacrifice that if they won't cater to your needs...They need you!!!!!! You don't need them!!!!!!!!!! Make them do it to your standards!!!!!!!!!!!!
My point of view....BTW...........I'm 21.75 years old....Ahaha...had to throw the extra .75 in...Peace!
