A tad of show for good measure, such as wheels, foglights, spoiler, tint, just the basic stuff. Other than that, I am into go and not that concerned about having the pimpest looking ride. I want to pull next to other vics and be faster and make my driving experience more enjoyable.

I dunno! I mean my car is fixed up, more for show at the moment. BUT! I am planning on getting N2O, header, etc. So what would that make me? A mutt? I will still enter my car in shows even after I get the nitrous. I mean, the nearest track is about 2 hours away. So if there is a car show nearby, then I'm there, and will leave the track for another day.
You know what gets me though? At a show, air bag suspension is worth more points than a full racing suspension is!! How absolutely unfair. I mean in reality, a full race suspension, and an air bag suspension run pretty much the same price. I know if you race, maybe you shouldn't be at a show. But I have seen plenty of race cars that look bad and are at show all the time!

Hey,
I'm mostly all show, the only go at this moment would be my Intake.
My goal is to be finished with my 2k1 at the end of this year, In order,
- Body Kit (Tsunami Front, Kamanari Sides, Xenon Rear)
- DC Headers
- Tananabe Exhaust or Greddy
- Audio set-up.
This will probaly run me about $2,500, that would be it for me not including the little accesories....

Show...and even if you did turbo this car, it's still a single cam turbo which in my opinion is still slow as dog $hit compared to other cars I've seen. I mean dont get me wrong I love the way the 2k1's look and all but what Honda did to these things, you can't get any power out of these things. So all show for me!!
Show, because I don't plan on keeping this car more than 2 more years, get something new again HEHE. Hopefully the 2003 Accords have the Manual V6 coming out.
If not, a RSX -S or something.

show. I've only had mine for 3 weeks. At first I considered racing parts but realized that's not very important to many any more. Plus it will keep me out of trouble. I mostly was interested in reliability when I bought it anyway. At most go parts will likely include a K&N drop in filter, and 17" wheels with low profile tires for hugging turns better. Here are my mods thus far.
Dealer:
Spoiler
Silver Dash Trim Kit
Leather Steering Wheel Wrap
Hand Painted Black & Dark Grey Pin Striping (Actually looks good
Floor Mats
Mud Guards
Wheel Well & Door Edge Guards
Aftermarket:
Formula One Premier Tint (35% all around w/eyebrow)
Chrome Rear License Frame (w/clear cover & little caps covering bolts) hell of a mod hehe
<< no matter how many mods we do to our cars....how can we even BEGIN to call them fast! they have at the most 127hp from the factory! and unless any of us have are running a ton of boost then i dont think any of our cars can be even considered remotly fast!!! 127hp! does not equal fast! lol! therefore our civics are simply for show! >>
Consider that our cars are very light which means less hp needed for same results as many heavier cars.
<< Why the heck would you want your battery in the trunk?...what's the point? >>
It benifits rear wheel drive cars more, because it puts extra weight on drive wheels for improved traction. On front wheel drive it is done merely to get closer to a 50/50 weight distribution, but you are taking weight off drive wheels. This means handling improvements, but would likely hurt 1/4 mile times and any other straight line racing.
