Building a sleeper...
im gonna make my civic into a sleeper and i want to know best products to add to get best performance. money is not really an issue, but i dont know much about our cars (im learning) and i just want to know what to add. and to those of you asking "why not get another car?". i love this civic!! end of story. but here in sa im tired of these fools at the track disrespecting us. so i wanna see the **** stains in their panties when i pull out with this sleeper. i have a very morbid sense of humor im just going to go with exhaust, oem spoiler, and my a simple body kit for exterior (dont want them to think i put a lot into it) im not talking about a super fast car, just something to shock em. 2 final points. im going to be adding other exterior mods (lights, maybe shave doors). i just dont want to look like those typical "riced" (for lack of a better word) civics around here, but i want to have nice performance. and engine swap is out of question. i just want a nice lil civic with as much power as possible. im only 19 so i plan on upgrading cars in the future, but for the time being im sticking with civic (match my 2k2 cbr ) thanks for input
THATS MA BABY!

well, if money isn't a problem, you can always start researching on engine swaping, build a custom turbo, use lotsa naws and or just look at what papa did to his "7thgen" civic
i feel ya syon...thats exactly what i want to do with my civic, and the best way, and the only way right now (unless you wanna shell out a couple thousand for a custom turbo) is to get the basic i/h/e bolt ons, and a 50 shot of nitrous express. you could also go with a vtec controller, cam gears, and what not, but the bolt ons and nitrous is what you want to focus on

haha i see what you mean. but i love his setup; not too flashy. these rich kids over here in sa lost their mind and racing, crashed, messed it up for everyone, etc. now the cops are pulling over modded cars just to finger the driver in the a$$hole. i want a very inconspicuous car, cause i dont wanna have to go to jail for bustin up a cop...well actually, i'd rather get fingered that have to deal with BIG MIKE at jail, but thats a whole nother topic

Might wanna look into an Injen CAI, Magnaflow high flow cat, GUDE performance head swap.. Jetchip ECU Upgrade. AEM High flow fuel system. Unorthadox Racing underdrive pulleys. Eibach Sportlines. Koni Yellows. Neuspeed front and rear sway bars. Neuspeed Strut brace, front and rear. Revo Short shifter. Kumosport direct shift kit.. (GREAT mod).. Neuspeed, or DC sports or Solo Short shift adapter. of course lightweight rims (preferably 16's for best traction at the track)...HP Headers...some enxhaust system..
Camber kit of course..
and then a good ole fashioned 50 shot of Nitrous .
Hmm am I missing anything here??? maybe an E-ram supercharger (temporary 3 PSI boost)

<< what screams "sleeper?" >>
2k1 Vintage Plum Pearle Sedan ...
By end of 2k3, I'll be running at least 150HP at the wheel..maybe more if they come out with new crankshafts, rods and lightweight forged pistons.
Cheers

If you really don't want anyone to know about your car, I would keep the outside stock. That's ultimate sleeper, and make sure your exhaust isn't too loud because that might give it away.

sleepers dont have bodykits. sleepers are mostly stock looking cars that haull @ss. so if u want it to be real sleeper no bodykit not big sized rims nothing to that effet just pure performance under the hood. but it doesnt sound like u want a real sleeper more like a race car with some slight show but thats cool. just dont call it a sleeper if it aint.
