2K2 Honda Civic Ex vs Crx Gs-r
Hello, everyone the other night. On my way home from the club, the guy in a crx with a gs-r motor swap, got into a little race. When i was getting on the freeway, I heard him rev up, the next thing i did. Was shifted into 3rd, and getting on the freeway. I had a nice jump on him, and the next thing i no. He was on my door, and just started pulling away. So I flash my light, and we pull over, and he say he has a gs-r motor with no vtech? Is that true, I asked if he what other mods, he only say intake, and exhaust, but i see his gauges in the window, he was a cool guy to. I think he had nos, the second race on the freeway again, he let me get the jump, and just pull two car lengths like nothing[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/IMG]. Well tonight the civic will stay at home, im driving my 92 LX 5.0, mods 331 stroker, afr 185 heads, trickflow trackheat intake, with vortech sc, see about 13psi, i might change my pulley just for him. If I see him, at the club tonight its on. Sorry for the long story I just wanted to tell everyone. Later matt

Rep Power: 0 he proll had nos.... my friend raced a 2k2 4 door in his interga GSR and it almosted beat him becuase of nos...... the teg weas beting him for at least 2-3 cars and all the sudden he comes flying ryt next to gim.... but it was ok cuz my friends turbo kicked in and he took off lol [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 328 and for that matter, there's no way that a near stock seventh generation civic would have anything on a GSR, let alone a lighter CRX with a GSR engine. If he was telling the truth you should be happy that he sucks at driving and that you were able to hang with him in the launch. Rep Power: 368 CRX with B18C3 can run 14s? high 14s I think. if he's spraying... I guess mid 14s or low 14s depending on how much shot...
dont think he can spray enough without blowing up to take out ur 11 sec stang though.
mustangs are nice. I was gonna buy the new generation base but I duno about its mileage... and the v6 manual is kinda puny compare to the GT... and other issues we wont get into. heh.
