the tyc beam pattern everyone wanted
everyone been asking me for the beam pattern for the tyc lights. so i finnal got my lazy bum up and took some pictures, it's a 35 dollar digicam, live with it





i could be completely wrong, but those dont look like theyre puttin out much lite... and what color is the beam? it looks like an ugly yellowish color from the pics...but im just hopin the picture is decieving...

they actually put out quite a large amount of light, and it is yellow, i am not going to spend extra cash on fake hid

not bragging but i got my HID conversion kit plus my TYC projectors and theyre bright as hell.

Whoa, the beam pattern in the pics really are off. I want to get them because the stock housing is giving off too much glare on the right side with HIDs. But first, I got to remove the H4 adaptor ring and sand off the ceramic coating to convert D2R to D2S.

d2r is retro fit hid bulbs, containing a little deflector plate on the bulb itself to reduce glare, for cars using deflection to light up the road
d2s is the current hid bulb for all cars with hid standard, no shield, it's for projector headlight applications

Yes, D2S is for projectors. There is actually no reason for anyone to get D2R bubls, The ceramic coating doesn't reduce glare for us, it's only for OEM housings designed specifically for D2R, such as in Acuras and Mercedes because they didn't want to use projectors. Don't fall for it like I did.
