Street Drifting in Japan mpeg
Okay folks, we had to put this video up on the site. It is something that everyone has to see. If you think the racing anime Initial D is cool, check this out! This video filmed on the streets of Japan is something you do not want to miss. also check out the sparks coming from the blue car =)

How do you do that. I think I remember someone saying something about applying your emergency brake while your turning or something. ANyone want to clerify.

its very easy to do, but you need a car with power to the rear wheels to do it correctly. you just keep the *** end a little loose and control it using the power...
Here is a better site jap silvias driftin side by side final drive
crazy stuff..i luv it

you can't truly drift a FF car.... sorry.... you can ebrake it to swing the butt around, but in a track scenario you couldn't pull off multiple drift after drift and see the time gains what you get in a real sports car (rwd/awd)
I love my civic but FF is not a sports car
edit for clarity: can't do it because FF uses the control wheels to also lay down all your power, you need power to the rear wheels to truly drift

well thats up for debate...
awd rocks ff in snow
ff = cheaper = easier to engineer = less drivetrain to lose the precious power from high strung four bangers= more interior space for compacts

FF cars can't really drift..they can only pull a power slide and maybe do a rear end slide using the E-brake
also that's not really drifting in the first video...it's more like power sliding
