Yes I know thye are bassically the same car but which one do you guys like more they do have noticable differences which one do you guys like more the pontiac solstice gxpor the saturn sky redline I was thinking about maybe getting one and curios as to what you all thought

between the 2, I would pick the Sky..... mainly b/c it looks more upscale and the Pontiac looks....... like a Pontiac

yeah i like the sky better to i think it looks better but the pontiac is like 2 grand cheaper and all the car magazines with they do reviews they rave about the solstice its value and bang for the buck but i havent heard a thing about the sky

you dont know anything well let me tell you they are both 260hp rwd convertibles(obviously) and the pontiac starts at 27g's and the sky at 29g's mind you this is the solstice gxp and sky redline if i wanted a regular solstice or sky it would be like 22g's but then i only get like 180 hp and a bunch of other stuff coast extra to add on to the regular one so for me its all or nothing

id get the sky, but at $29K its still a bad buy. i think theres plenty better cars to choose from in that price range. have you considered the s2k?

I rarely let passengers in the rear seats and mostly stuff just clutters up back there. I got my roadster for practicality's sake

This pic is the only kit that makes the solstice look like it isn't a solstice and is the only one that doesn't look ugly, I don't know why the others kept the ugly front end...

dont get me wrong i love hondas ive had 2 cars and both have been hondas but it seems like a bad choice this time higher price for less speed come on somehtings wrong there solstice and sky both around 27-30 g's and has 260hp where the s2000 starts out at like 34 or 35g's and only has 234-240hp does the honda really seem like the better choice?

yea that is one sweet kit for the solstice, its not that nice of a front end but i would still take it over the pos saturn

the current issue of C&D magazine tested an auto trans Sky Redline..... I think 0-60 was still under 5.5 seconds. I think the engine in the turbo models is a 2 liter ecotec?

the only thing i thought about doing was buying like a reg sky rather then the redline(turbo) and then turboing it myself to save money but then id be off the waranty huh?

i vote s2k its been voted the best all around sports car for the money i dont know how many times its got 50/50weight distribution 9k red line if you gona get one i would go s2k or you can always do the fun thing....go to the dealership say i want that (point to the sky) but put an ls1 in it and they will do it

Yea but the important part is can they get rid of the ugly bulbous front end for you? That really is the only problem with the pontiac, although I've never been know to turn down a ls1.
