bye bye 7thgen soon
just put my deposit down on a red 2007 G35S today and i should be getting it in mid-dec...
so i will be saying goodbye to my civic
sad to have this car gone but i really want to drive a nicer car in Cali... trying to sell it privately right now.. if no interest buyers, going to do a trade-in, hopefully not too low consider trying to negotiate a better trade-in value with the pioneer d2 gps, 2-way alarm, polk speakers and all that..

good luck on the private sale. if you can trade people your aftermarket stuff for stock parts id def do that
^^ results are very predictable... civic would take it off the line, but off a role the g35 would take it. civic will be powerful but g35 has a lot of torque. friend has one, gone for rolls over a million times... wish hondas had more torque.

by next july, they will have the coupe.. i was hestiating to wait till next year or not... because the coupe definitely looks good especially with the red.. but i kinda like to drive sedan more...
Congrats!!!! I really like the G's myself.. I just can't afford one now without making major sacrafices that I'm not willing to make at this time. I haven't seen the 07's yet, but I have driven an 06 sedan.. very nice ride, in all categories. I just wish the navigation wasn't bundled with the damn "premium package".. adding Navigation actually boosts the price by $4650. I hate to do it, but if I were to buy an 06, I'd get it without Navigation and invest the $4600 into a custom audio system. You lose the nice car diagnostics and junk on the screen, but you'd get a FAR superior audio setup... $4650 is just far too much for me to pay for factory nav. Wish you could take it alone for $1800.
Hopefully they improve in this area for 07.
