Rep Power: 0 Should I buy - NEED ADVICE
I'm currently looking to buy a Civic and recently found one, but want to get some expert opinion on whether or not it's a good deal. For starters I'm in Ontario in the GTA (north of Toronto). The guy's asking $8000 for it - it's a 2000 Si, manual, 1 owner, no accidents, pw, pl, phm, psunroof, keyless, ac, abs, tilt and cruise, tinted, fog lights, spoiler, 2 sets of tires and rims, cd, certified.
It's been regularly maintained at the local dealer and has app. 175,000k on it.
From doing a walk around there is minor rust on the hood and a few dents. Also the odometer is broken (the dealership is aware of this problem).
Please let me know if you think this is a good buy, or if I have a little bit of room to play with price. And any other advice you may have for a first time car buyer and Civic wannabe. Thank you!

Rep Power: 227 My friend bought a car that the odometer and speedometer were not working, a 99 Ex, and it had WAY more miles on it then it said and engine ended up **** after about 2months of buying it, so he had to get new engine. If you're going to pay 8k, you should just get a 7thgen imo.
